The Reporoa Squash Club will be pleased they ticked one thing off their list with learning CPR: it saved the life of one of their members.
“He was blue, unresponsive and basically dead,” club president Treena Braithwaite told the NZ Herald.
Their CPR and the defibrillator that the paramedics brought is what saved his life. Now the Reporoa Squash Club are buying an AED of their own, just in case it happens again.
