After 10 years in the finance industry, Shannon went on to spend another decade in various sales roles within Auckland before becoming a stay-at-home mum for five years. We’re pleased to have her fabulous admin and customer service skills at Heart Saver, where she helps us in the office with ensuring our customer service is top-notch and generally keeping the boys in line!
Sinead joined Heart Saver after a varied background in retail and childcare, but with a genuine interest in the healthcare industry, and a passion for helping others. Her friendly nature and eye for detail ensures we are able to provide the best possible service to our customers. Sinead is busy mum to her teenage son and in her spare time can be found spending time with her nieces and nephews and all the adventures that come with them.
Kevin has been involved in the sales environment since returning from overseas many (many) years ago. Sales roles have included Account Management through to National Sales Manager with his last position being a Business Development Manager - a role which he held for 14 years. Kevin places strong emphasis on customer service and the importance of building lasting professional relationships. Outside of his children and grandchildren Kevin likes to keep fit, have a game of golf or go out in the boat fishing when time allows.
Mark comes to Heart Saver after 23 years on the road as a front-line paramedic. For the last 15 years, Mark has also been a volunteer at his local fire station as a firefighter and first responder. Mark has a passion for helping others and likes to share his knowledge, expertise and stories. His position at Heart Saver allows him to train and educate New Zealanders in First Aid and AED use, having personally seen the difference these skills can make in an emergency situation. In his spare time, he enjoys running to keep fit, hiking and spending time with his family.
With a background as a volunteer firefighter, Cam knows first-hand the difference that AEDs and quality first aid skills can make in an emergency situation and as a result, he’s passionate about doing what he can to upskill New Zealanders. Cam joins us after seven years in sales roles in the vehicle leasing industry and is excited to help Heart Saver clients with their health and safety needs. Cam says he spends way too much of his spare time at the fire station.
Nicole joined Heart Saver after a few years off raising her daughters. She brings a wealth of office administration experience to her role, including 14 years of business ownership in the print industry. At Heart Saver she uses her planning and organisational skills to coordinate and develop suitable training programmes for a wide variety of customers. She enjoys knowing that the life-saving training can, and often does, make a difference. Nicole keeps busy in all areas of her life. Her weekends are filled with sport and activity –whether it’s exercising, or watching her daughters play football, or socialising.
As office administrator, Holly manages reception, processes orders and assists customers with queries and requests. She is a friendly and helpful first line of contact for customers and vendors. Always busy, Holly also teaches children’s art classes at the local art gallery and is a swim instructor. A talented artist, she has exhibited in group and solo art shows since graduating with Honours in Fine Art. If you want to make Holly smile, she loves a silly joke. She enjoys working as part of the Heart Saver team because what we do makes a difference (and we have numerous silly jokes on offer too).
Catherine has more than twenty years of experience in graphic design and marketing, both within New Zealand and abroad. Passionate about adding value wherever she is, she loves telling meaningful stories. Heart Saver allows her to do this by creating greater public awareness around its life-saving products and services. Spare time is scarce for her currently as she pursues a Masters in Creative Arts Therapy, but she enjoys hiking, camping and walks with her dog, Nelly.
