AED / CPR Training

Learn how to operate an AED in an emergency situation.

It is helpful for an AED operator to recognise the signs of a sudden cardiac arrest, when to activate the AED system, and how to do CPR. It’s also helpful for operators to receive formal training on the AED model they will use, so they feel confident operating it in an emergency.

Attendees will learn the following skills necessary to manage a life-threatening condition:

  • DRSABCD approach to patient management
  • Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation – Level 2
  • Use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
  • Recovery position
  • Management of choking
  • Resuscitation training

The instructor was very kind, clear and concise. He gave great explanations for everything (without expecting prior knowledge) - and kept it simple and straight forward. He didn't overload us with information, and instead focused on teaching us the necessary basics well. He was happy to answer any questions and was great at encouraging us all to have a go. We all ended up having a great time and are now confident to perform CPR and use an AED. Informative and enjoyable. Highly recommend this training to other offices. Many thanks to the team at Heart Saver!

Thanks very much, we have thoroughly enjoyed working with Heart Saver. The instructor was great, very informative and had a lot of practical knowledge to share. Everyone learned something new and it was great to see our actual AED in action to reduce the unknown aspect in case of emergency.

From the Wet and Forget team, Mark was fantastic. Best First Aid Course I have been on (I have been on many). His field experience and knowledge of live events the dos and don’ts were outstanding. He was very clever in getting the staff involved doing CPR.

Fastest 1 hour at a First Aid course ever, enjoyable, interesting, and left with great knowledge and confidence in performing CPR and using the defibrillator.

Please pass our comments on to Mark, a great asset to your company. Will request him on the next occasion.
Wet and Forget
The training we received was fantastic. It was informative, comprehensive, and very thorough. He made the experience fun, and entertaining, but at the same time the serious nature of the topics was clear. We all really enjoyed our training session, and came away confident in using an AED, and administering CPR.
